About the Business
Chiropractic is a health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effect of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal manipulation or adjustments (World Federation of Chiropractic, 1999). The Chiropractors Act 1994 established the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) as the regulatory body and since the 14th June 2001 it has been illegal for anyone to practice as a chiropractor if they are not registered with the GCC.
All chiropractors at the Battlefield clinic are registered members of the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association (BCA). The source of your problem is very important to a chiropractor as it may affect your recovery and any possible future recurrence. Chiropractic treatment is specifically designed for each patient.
