About the Business
In June, 1983 I graduated from Simon Fraser University obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration. In the two years following, I worked in the private sector. However, I felt a need for a more challenging and fulfilling career. This meant going back to SFU in order to complete two years of science courses necessary for entry into the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth. In January, 1991 I began to study the Sacro-occipital Technique, or SOT as it is often referred to.
Hands-on seminars were the ideal way to learn this gentle, very effective technique. In 1993, I became a board member of SOTO-Europe. This is part of a world-wide group of SOT associations. Due to family commitments, I stepped down as a board member in 1998. It was in 1996, that I opened the Chiropractic Clinic in Heanor to provide Chiropractic care to the residents and workers of Heanor and the surrounding area.
